Le SAIDEN

Le SAIDEN è una sigla in francese che significa: Le Service Afrique-Italie pour le Développement et l’Encadrement (Il Servizio Africa-Italia per lo Sviluppo e l’Istruzione).
Ideata da Touré Issaka Fataou, l’iniziativa nasce nel 2003 come progetto sociale che come prima esperienza ha scelto la Repubblica del Benin, e il cui scopo è quello di servire da ponte tra l’Africa e l’Italia. In qualità di progetto Le SAIDEN ha iniziato il suo lavoro in Benin partendo dalle scuole, realizzando una ricerca sul sistema d’istruzione e cominciando a mettere in contatto le scuole beninesi con quelle italiane.
Nel 2009 si costituisce come associazione di volontariato. Oltre all’ambito scolastico, le attività dell’associazione riguardano i settori della tutela dei diritti civili, la formazione, la promozione della cultura e dell’ arte.
Dal momento della sua prima costituzione l’associazione si è impegnata in attività di sensibilizzazione rispetto ai temi della convivenza, della solidarietà e dell’intercultura:
- ha partecipato e realizzato manifestazioni di carattere sociale (incentrate su temi come il razzismo, l’integrazione sociale, l’immigrazione, la tutela dei popoli migranti, ecc.), culturale (plurilinguismo, tutela delle lingue materne, ecc.), formativo (iniziative presso istituti scolastici), divulgativo (meeting di associazioni) e artistico (mostre fotografiche, eventi musicali, performance, cineforum ecc.);
- ha realizzato laboratori d’intercultura e campi residenziali di promozione al volontariato nel campo dell’immigrazione;
- gestisce un blog di informazione sul continente africano e sulle comunità migranti, il cui scopo è quello di creare un luogo di confronto e scambio di idee;
- si occupa di realizzare iniziative di ospitalità e formazione a favore degli immigrati, rifugiati politici e richiedenti asilo, presenti nel territorio.


The SAIDEN is an french acronym which means: The Service pour le Développement-Italy Afrique et l'encadrement (The Africa-Italy Service for Development and Education). Designed by Issaka Fataou Toure, the initiative was founded in 2003 as a social project that has chosen as a first experience, the Republic of Benin, and whose purpose is to be a bridge between Africa and Italy. As social project, Le SAIDEN began its work in Benin starting from schools, making a research on the education system and starting to get in touch italian schools with beninese schools. In 2009 Le SAIDEN became a voluntary association. Furthermore the association's activities include civil rights, education in general, the promotion of culture and art.
Since its first constitution, the association is engaged in activities to raise awareness on the issues of coexistence, solidarity and intercultural exchange:
- has participated in and realized social events (focusing on issues such as racism, social integration, immigration, the protection of migrant peoples, etc..), cultural events (multilingualism, protection of mother tongues, etc..) training seminary (initiatives in schools), media and cognitive events (meetings of associations) and artistic events (photo exhibitions, music events, performances, movies, etc..);
- has started up intercultural workshops and residential camps to promote volunteering in the field of immigration;
- maintains a blog for information on the African continent and migrant communities, coordinating the publication of articles by various authors, whose purpose is to create a flow of information coming from Africa such as Italy, and a place of comparison and exchange of ideas;
- deals hospitality and education initiatives to help immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers in the area.

Le SAIDEN est un acronyme français qui signifie: Le Service Afrique-Italie pour le Développement et l'Encadrement. Conçu par Touré Issaka Fataou, l'initiative est née dans le 2003 comme projet social qu’a choisi comme première expérience la République du Bénin, avec le but de servir comme pont entre l'Afrique et l'Italie. Comme projet, Le SAIDEN a commencé son travail au Bénin à partir des écoles, en réalisant une recherche sur le système de formation et en créant des premiers contacts entre les écoles béninoises et ces-là italiennes.
Dans le 2009 se constitue comme association de volontaires. Au dé-là du domaine scolastique, les activités de l’association agissent dans les secteurs de la sauvegarde des droits civiles, de la formation en général et de la promotion de la culture et de l’art.
A partir de sa première constitution l’association s’est engagée dans activités de sensibilisation par rapport à la vie en commun, à la solidarité e à l’inter-culture:
- a participé et réalisé manifestations sociales (centrés sur des thèmes comme le racisme, l’intégration sociale, l’immigration, la protection des peuples migrants, exc.), culturels (multilinguisme, sauvegarde des langues maternelles, exc.) formatifs (activités près des écoles), informatifs et cognitifs (meeting d’associations) et artistiques (exposition photographique, manifestations musicales, performance, forum de cinéma, exc.) ;
- a réalisé laboratoires interculturels et champs résidentiels pour la promotion au volontariat dans le domaine de l’immigration ;
- gère un blog d’informations sur l’Afrique et le communautés migrantes, en cordonnant la paraître des articles écrits par différents auteurs, donc le but est aussi ce-là de créer un flux d’information provenant de l’Afrique aussi bien que de l’Italie, et un lieu de comparaison et change d’idées ;
- s’intérêt à la réalisation d’initiatives d’accueil et formation pour les immigrés, le réfugiés politique et les demandeurs d’asile, présents sur le territoire.
